World Pasta Day returns every October 25, so we decided an ordinary bowl of spaghetti wasn’t dramatic enough. This year, dinner has developed its own weather system.

Meet the Pasta-nado. It starts as a tiny swirl over the Tuscan fields, gathers tomatoes, basil, garlic and Parmesan, then sweeps into a village trattoria.

Then comes the silence. One perfectly timed drop later, dinner is served.

Finally, a storm with excellent table manners.
